A SUMMER SERENADE

Ambrosian Music is very excited – and honoured to be able to host the immensely accomplished pianist, Simon Mulligan as a chamber music partner in our final concert of the season on SUNDAY, 19th July, 5pm at St Mary the Virgin, St Marychurch.
“A Summer Serenade” is a programme of lighter, romantic works, featuring the incandescently brilliant writing of the French female composer Louise Farrenc alongside the charming “Trout” Quintet by Franz Schubert.
Ambrosian Strings are also joined by the bassist, Daniel Storer, Principal bassist of the Manchester Camerata and Hallé Orchestra.
This really is a coming together of some great players, playing some of the best works of the romantic period – in a beautiful and historic setting – with delicious refreshments!
We’re going to be starting at 5pm, so those of you that would like to watch the World Cup Final will be easily be able to get to a television for the 8pm kick off.
