A Little Words About Us

Ambrosian Strings,  a string quartet is a collective of the very finest string players in the country. Our members have long-standing associations with top orchestras in the UK and beyond, including section leaders of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and Northern Sinfonia, professors at the Royal Academy of Music and Guildhall School of Music, principal violinists with the Scottish Ensemble and the English chamber orchestra. You can be assured that Ambrosian Strings brings a wealth of ability and experience to your celebration.

We perform regularly in both traditional chamber music concerts as well as in the increasingly popular Candlelight Concerts series, performing a a range of music from Bach and Vivaldi to Taylor Swift and Nirvana – and pretty much everything in between.
