Victoria has performed with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales\, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic\, Glyndebourne Touring Opera\, and at festivals across Europe\, bringing her artistry to audiences far and wide. \nWith a history stretching back to the year 901\, the ancient parish church of St Mary the Virgin\, St Marychurch\, Torquay\, has stood through Saxon missionaries\, Norman builders\, Victorian renewal\, and even wartime tragedy. Today\, its rich heritage and remarkable acoustics provide the perfect backdrop for this special evening. \nThe evening features two masterpieces of the chamber repertoire: \nSamuel Coleridge-Taylor’s Clarinet Quintet in F-sharp minor\, Op.10\, was performed in celebration of the composer’s 150th birthday. \nMozart’s Clarinet Quintet in A Major\, K.581 one of the most beloved works for clarinet and strings. \nFine wines will be served before the concert and during the interval. Here\, she collaborated with such notable musicians as Kirill Petrenko and Elina Garanča. \nAfter performing the gamut of operas and symphonies\, Ricarda now has now dedicated herself to performing music for solo viola and chamber music with her partner Ute. \nUte Weickenmeier\, piano\,  specialised in vocal accompaniment\, and after graduation from the Hochschule für Musik “Franz Liszt in Weimar has gone on to work in the opera houses of Jena\, Meiningen\, Osnabrück \, Halle and Nürnberg.  Ute has also spent time as Assistant to the Board at her parent’s Architecture company in Munich. \nShe now lives in England and plays chamber music with Ricarda Schmidt. \nWith a history stretching back to the year 901\, the ancient parish church of St Mary the Virgin\, St Marychurch\, Torquay\, has stood through Saxon missionaries\, Norman builders\, Victorian renewal\, and even wartime tragedy.
